Come explore some of the creative possibilities with soft pastels. I will guide us in using one of the oldest art mediums, soft pastels, in unique and creative ways to convey landscapes & abstracts on an unusual substrate.  Bring an open mind, your creative instincts and a landscape reference photo to work from. All skill levels are welcome. All supplies are included but students are encouraged to bring their favorite pastels; an apron and nitrile/latex gloves are optional.
